Audiologist

Dr. Baumrin graduated from Syracuse University with her Doctor of Audiology in 2008 and her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2005. She specializes in comprehensive audiologic evaluations for adults and pediatrics, as well as hearing aid evaluations, fittings and adjustments.

Dr. Baumrin has extensive experience in treating adult and pediatric patients in private practice and hospital settings. As an audiologist with Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan for over eight years, Rebecca conducted comprehensive audiometric evaluations, electrophysiologic testing and counseling for a diverse inpatient and outpatient population. In her seven years with a high-profile ENT’s office in Manhattan, she also gained substantial experience providing hearing aid amplification for adult patients, including fittings and adjustments to optimize their hearing experience.

Dr. Baumrin holds licenses for both audiology and hearing aid dispensing in New Jersey and New York. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, endurance training, reading and serving as the PTO secretary at her children’s elementary school.
